Finally finished a piece from my backlog pile!

I’ve been trying to experiment with colouring styles that would emulate a “vintage anime” look. Admittedly I was heavily influenced by Saber Marionette J for Daina’s look. As for Dex, it’s more of an outright parody of those badly drawn boys-love genre characters–what the internet jokingly calls “yaoi anatomy“.

I tried doing a retro-looking logo because I might get in trouble using the official ones (plus I don’t think there’s a proper one floating on the internet anyway). Contemplating on writing a tutorial for Clip Studio on how I did the retro text effect.

I added some wear and tear effect on the final piece to simulate an old poster/leaflet.
